DisrupTor, a result of the cyber operation conducted by the international security agencies against the Dark Web vendors and buyers. As a result, 179 Dark Web vendors were arrested across the US and Europe. These vendors are alleged of selling illegal items on the Dark Web platform.
Over USD 6.5 millions were recorded from these vendors both in cash and virtual money. Moreover, around 500 kg drugs were detected from these smugglers. The drugs include heroin, cocaine, oxycodone, hydrocodone, fentanyl, MDMA, methamphetamine and other medicine addictive materials. Besides, 64 arm weapons were recovered from these illegal activists.
A similar undertaking took place in May last year against the Wall Street Market, the second major illegal market of Dark Web. The operation pioneered by the German Federal Criminal Police got a great support of Dutch National Police and many other US government agencies to make it a success.
The Dark Web marketplace is experiencing its worst time and seems to be closed now. The Government and the police, undertaking these operations indicates their proactiveness against the crimes. The law enforcement not only shut down these illegal markets, but also punish the involved parties.
Keep distance from these illegal activists!
