Hi-tech Cybercrimes and The Preventive Measures and Safety Tips Against Them

ISOEH Siliguri organized a seminar for the journalists of eminent newspapers and media houses of Siliguri on “Hi-tech Cybercrimes and the preventive measures and safety tips against them”; by our Director Mr. Sandeep Sengupta, Shri Sanjay Kumar Das (WBCS), Jt. Secretary – IT & E, State Information Security Officer, West Bengal along with Mr. Nirupam Chaudhuri – Head NASSCOM (Eastern India). From Jalpaiguri Gov. Engineering college, Shri Subhas Barman Hod of CSE Department and Asst. Prof. Animesh Hazra was also present in the seminar. We would like to thank everyone for their valuable presence and speech.

ISOEH Organized a Press Conference at The Press Club, Kolkata on Recent Hi-Tech Cyber Crimes and Preventive Measures Against those Crimes

Indian School of Ethical Hacking & Cyber Security Centre of Excellence organized a Press Conference at Press Club, Kolkata on recent hi-tech cyber crimes and preventive measures against those crimes. All the eminent newspapers and media houses were present to cover the show. The main attraction of the conference was: Car Hacking Live Demo at a low cost of 5k to 6k; Tracking Frequency of Flights; BSc. degree courses like digital Forensics and its advantages shortly; and launching of hi-tech digital forensics lab for first time in Eastern India.

Nasscom Cyber Security Bootcamp - Basic Survival Strategy

To help Nasscom & DSCI members combat against cyber crime, Nasscom Security SIG (East) conducted a TECHNICAL WORKSHOP on cyber security. ISOEH was teach participants on how to conduct AUDIT on office infrastructure, on a periodic basis using OPEN SOURCE & FREE TOOLS.

We covered tools like Nmap, Nessus, Software Audit, etc. It was hands on practical session.

Workshop was conducted by Ethical Hackers from Indian School of Ethical Hacking, who are certified OCSP, OSCE, CISA, CEH
